MOVIE SUMMARY
Tsurisaki Kiyotaka, Japan’s notorious death photographer and the
creative force behind “Orozco the Embalmer,” dives back into the
darkness with his video camera. “Junk Films” is a compilation of
short documentaries filmed between the late 1990s and early 2000s,
featuring an array of shocking scenes from the aftermath of severe
auto accidents in Krung Thep, to the intense self-mutilation rituals
at the Vegetarian Festival in Phuket, and the decaying corpses in a
Bogota landfill.
